Born and raised in New York, Frank grew up with an immense appreciation and understanding of the integral role art and culture has in society. He embarked upon his personal contribution creatively when he began work as a photo assistant to Mario Sorrenti. This role became the segway for his artistic expression through make-up; where he approached collaborative image making natural to the surrounds of his upbringing, and his father’s legacy, who was the former hair stylist for Judy Garland.
After 18 years of being noticed and known as one of the industries most esteemed make-up artists, with work appearing in the most notable platforms all over the world, from Vogue (American, French, British, Chinese, Italian, Japanese), W, Allure, and so forth, Frank has started a journey to channel his artistic expression through new mediums; painting and photography.
Frank finds a way to identify with beauty and cultures of all conventions. This year alone, his work as been published in Let’s Panic, Out Of Order, Masters, Morgan Lane and more is due out soon, and he continues to work as a sought after Make Up artist contributing editorially, on the runway, and through his dynamic collaboration with Milk Makeup.
